One of our fellow Freelander owners is replacing his brake switch but can't get hold of the intermediate cable loom easily. I don't have one I can photograph for him to look at.

Can someone with a FL1 with a new style brake switch and the intermediate cable take some photo's of it and put them in the fred in the link below?

We need to see the colours of the eggsisting wiring harness on the FL1 and the colours of the new intermediate cable and connector. Also a photo of the intermediate cable colours going to the new switch.

With this information he should be able to connect up the new brake switch himself.

Thank you! I really appreciate!

No pic after 5 months. :(
Hi, here's a pic. I've just rushed out & taken ( it's the first time I've seen this post, honest gov. :)) I just stuck the phone under where I thought was about right & clicked ! I can take more tomorrow if you need 'em. It's from an 04 Td4 auto.

I've just looked in the Haynes manual & the '2003 models on' wiring diagram shows the colours going to the switch as green/purple, green/red & green ? As you can see from my pic. two of them match but the plain green is white on my car ! Shock Horror, could the Haynes manual be wrong? You can also see the switch is dated 05/12/03, the car was first registered Jan 04 so it's probably how it left the factory.
