Awesome bit of kit very simple to fit.

I saw your facebook post about these this week. I've always wanted some but I was thinking about them today and was wondering if they would be in the way a bit, like when you're leaning over the wing doing the chuffing thermostat o-ring or something?

The Freelander 2 has them, and I've not found them a hindrance, even while replacing the cylinder head. ;)

Granted not done a lot too it since but the bonnet goes higher and the stay isn’t in the way either, the struts themselves are pretty low down and not intrusive into work areas really.

Good price too! :D

Just bought a replacement strut for the rear door (I hadn't realised that the door was supported by a gas strut!) - and a single strut to replace the original costs between £18-22 - so a pair with fitting hardware, this looks good value :)
