205/80/16 are 28.91" diameter
235/70/16 are 28.95" diameter
So I was about right then lol......couldn't be bothered to check lol
this is getting bloody confusing
on top of the lift your kit will give you, your tyres can lift it higher too
mine was lifted 1" just by replacing the 215/65/16 with 205/80/16
because the diameter of the new tyres is 2" bigger

According to the internet, 215/65/16 are smaller diameter than the 195/80/15 you mentioned on the first page that you currently have... 686mm against 693mm
that's weird, having took off a wheel from the vitara to check the pads, I placed it alongside the landy and it was noticeably higher
maybe I just need to get the lift kit finished then see how it copes with our private track, as technically I should be 40mm more clearance? if all ok I'll keep as is for time being, until these tyres need replacing, and then look into 16" tyres/rims
Would it not be anyway because it had no weight on it or was it a lot more higher than that?
me, being the tight git that I am, was just checking out my little mule (grand vitara) now that has nearly new x 5, 215 65 R16 AT's which when placed against the freelander are around 30mm higher ish,
so would getting 5 15" rims for vitara and 5 16" rims for the landy, and swapping the tyres over, be cheaper than buying 5 new tyres and rims for the landy,
although doing the later would give me 15" rims and tyres to sell on
195/80/15 and 215/65/16 are almost exactly the same rolling diameter so i wouldn't bother tbh
That looks nice what im aiming for lol once fitted do you have to have camber correction pins and is there specific figures for tracking?
