Hi all
Just thought I would share my experience.
After months of searching I finally got a door lock for my 2001 drivers door(single plug type)
I've just changed it and was a little worried by some of the stories to do with replacing them,all I can say is there is a big piece of metal on the lock which is unused,as u look into door it's on left,look for it before u detach the old one.
If u remove this unused piece it makes it so much easier,I did the whole job inc stripping door card etc in about 20 mins.
