Fitting new silencer

When fitting the olives with the silencer do I need to use and type of sealant ?

Haynes manual doesn't cover the exhaust systems in depth.

Yeah.get some exhaust paste or gun gum. Fire puttys good. I needed to when I put a new system on mine. Blew out of everywhere but the rear end.
