Hi guys I've fitted a Landrover series 2a 2.2 litre petrol engine into my 1930s British military truck but the new engine is U/S & I need a working replacement ASAP for the show season.
I would prefer a 2.5 petrol from a 90 but a 2.2 will do for the time being. thanks.

I can't help with an engine but I used to be into old military vehicles myself, specifically US WW2 (three owned over a ten year period) & shared ownership of a British Ford WOT 15cwt. prior to that. Would I be correct in assuming the C8 would have been powered by a 3.5 ltr. 4 or 6 cyl. side valve ?
Wishing you luck with your quest.
