Hi All

Bit of a long shot but I am fitting extended roof rails to my 2003 Discovery and noticed from the fitting instructions I have found online that the original kit included a guide for drilling the pilot hole through the roof skin. As my rails are from a donor car I do not have the guide so I wondered whether anyone happens to have one that I can beg/borrow/buy?

Otherwise any tips would be gratefully received!

    Thanks

    Tom

Be careful this might not happen to your roof but I used masking tape to seal around sunroofs, when I removed the tape it pulled the lacquer off. Roof now needs respraying. As for fitting kit sorry can’t help. I want to do the same job one day as just the front bars are a pain, 8x4 sheets still fit though

Thanks I'll bear that in mind, i'm hoping that it'll just be a case of drilling the hole directly above the hole in the support member where the bracket for the extended rail sits.
