As per title, I've got hold of a RR classic 95' analogue clock (exact same dimensions as the Disco's, but different fitting at rear), and was wondering whether anyone has fitted one to their 300 Disco instead of the LED clock?

If so could ya tell me which wire's to connect to the RR clock?;)

Looked at them a few times but never changed them over. The clock has only three connections live to the clock, live for the lighting and common ground although sometimes there is is a ground for each circuit.

Thanks for the reply, only two (spade) connection's at the rear of this RR clock, but being an electrical numpty I don't fancy frying the wiring by messing with stuff beyond my knowledge!

Purple-white is the power the other wire (black) is to earth there should be a red-brown for the lamp according to my diagrams any probs post a pic of the rear of the clock. :)

Thank you:D, I've got some time tomorrow so will see if I can sort it out

wot yer wont a clock fer  Just enjoy your driving, don't matter what time it is.:D

Exactly right Rob, I'm never in a hurry:cool:, but I am sick of the Mrs whinging about the time or lack of :(, hopefully I'll get less earache once it's sorted!

Just removed the Disco's LCD clock, as well as the wire's you mentioned there is a 4th green wire?

Pic below is the RR clock which I'm hoping to fit... am I right in thinking it's missing an illumination bulb?

Excellent photo whats the camera........... yes the bulb holder is missing in the pic that will be another two wires from the lighting circuit + and neg/ground
On the clock the top of the T is the connection for +12v the other will be ground.

I haven't look at the disco wiring but u will have clock power, LCD illumination and lights on illumination ( head lights on night time) u won't require the LCD illumination so a spare wire there.

Thanks for all your help & advice, I'll crack on with it tomorrow.

The camera is a FujiFilm FinePix S6500fd, a cross between a point & shoot and a full on DSLR. Allow's me to use manual focus setting's and revert back to auto mode for my wife.

Looks like your clock also comes with a hazard switch. I forgot to say LCD illumination is ignition controlled as u already know.

My wifes camera is an S5700, i have a small Sony Cyber Shot so the secret is manual focus then which the Sony doesn't have.

Post some before and after photos ok, then i may do it :D
