Storm99 is the guy that slags of LRO all year then ends up going to their yearly show.
What a tit.

Really? Well i went to Billing in 2010, so thats once. And if you like LRO so much, why are you here? Still, don't let the facts get in the way of your inferiority complex. Good boy shep.

Please feel free to show me one single post where i have slagged off LRO..

May I also suggest the propane conversions don't seem very popular choice-speaks volumes.

My technical ability doesn't come into this, if you want fast 4x4 buy a scooby
or an evo lol... but seriously, waste of time n money. makes me wonder why anybody thinks they can make landys into sports cars:confused:. as wiltshire landyman said, its a mud plugga! you saw sense n ditched th gaylander, dont ruin it now...

qs has to be why the fcuk would you want to,its a 4x4 mud plugger not a feckin subaru, yes im sure its a marvel of engineering but really is it needed..

Are you really that dumb??

You'd do it for EXACTLY the same reason you would a remap to a TD5, a pump tweak to the Tdi, a V8 swap into a 2.5 TD, a 4.6 conversion on a 3.5

If you don't know why people do them then lord help you.

Don't listen to the fookn idiots that have no technical ability whatsoever so take the **** to cover up their incompetence!

It can be done easily with good results, I've done it but you get the best results from propane.
I've made up a nice small propane kit that includes EGT probe and meter.
I'll post up some pics next week.

Agree, lots of idiots who can't see past their own face.

I'd be interested in your setup if you could post/message me some details. Cheers. :)

Hallelujah, some one that speaks sense.

And...........thank fook for the ignore button storm99 is history!

I am thinking of fitting a NOS kit to my 300 tdi. Has anyone done this before and if so, how does it perform?

I haven't, but I will be once my rebuild is complete.

The biggest limit with nitrous is having enough fuel flow also. Easy with modern mappable ECU setups.

Speak to the guys at Wizards of Nos. The owner (who's name escapes me for the moment) has a device that can vary the fuel flow delivery of the Jetronic injector pump depending on load, so will allow sensible amounts of nitrous.

The other option is propane. Which alone can offer good performance gains, but also supplies and additional fuel so you can run even more nitrous.

The only real limit is how strong is a Tdi engine - when I tried to research this a few years back nobody seemed to know. I think anything over 170hp is uncharted territory due to the amount of torque it'll be making.

Yeah, nobody ever drives a Landy fast do they......
