fitting a nato hitch

i wanna fit a nato hitch to me disco 1 but still keep me original tow hitch aswell , i read somewhere that the nato hitch will fit higher up above the original ...
me question is what the fook do i attach it to ? has i got to get a new bumper or can i get some kinda adapter plate or somethin ???

any pics of yours would be good please ....

can u get a big drop plate then modify it

Nato Hitch will only fit above the tow hitch on a 90 or 110. Best bet if yu own a disco is to get a towhitch with a removable drop-plate and get 2 drop-plates one for the nato & one for the normal towhitch.

What do you want a NATO Hitch for?? if it's just for a recovery point just get a ball & Pin towhitch. If it's to tow a sankey you're gonna have problems attaching it, high enough up, on a disco.

thanks for the replies , i don't have a nato hitch yet but i want to buy a sankey so will need one , someone on another forum said a nato hitch will bolt onto the discovery heavy duty bumper so i am looking for info on that at the moment ...
