The bluetooth may be an issue? All depends of quality of mic, and no way of knowing what it's like until you try it, but you can add (or get someone) to add an external mic like what I've done to mine.

The sat nav do do an itinerary so thats not an issue, you can either add favorites (addresses) or mult destinations its your call.

If your unit supports an ipod then it will work like a dock station.

You've gotta pick a few units that match your needs and price, then you'll end up with a winner........

the hands free bluetooth is perfectly clear on these units, just the music streaming isnt brilliant but its acceptable at least.

otherwise i cant complain about anything else with these units.

mark: same problem mate, they string the "check the fuses" excuses for a couple of days untill they finally say "send the unit back to us"

its a painfull process mate :mad:

yeah mate, i'm expecting it, i replied to them today saying i had had it all checked by an auto-electrician who confirmed the unit was faulty so i want the return address immediately so it can be returned etc etc

so no doubt they will mail me tomorrow saying something like 'did you press the power button on the front?' lol

What's the odds that Sasha lands this unit next!????? Better get on Paddypower and see what the return would be haha:D

Things like this do spoil the whole process but you gotta think of the end result and perhaps to use another seller:eek:

good point though m,ate, not too worried, they have replied to all emails and its already on its way back, I reckon I'll have one back by the weekend..... ;)

just want it in now but it has allowed me to rip out the whole of the centre console in mine and take out all the switches etc and give it all a bloody good vac, the previous owners obviously had a white short haired dog with problem with hair loss! it was minging!

anyhows...if it doesn't turn up by the weekend i'll just fit my synergy2 thats on its way...... :D:p:D:p:D:p:D

Lol how is your mpg at the mo? Would love to know if synergy 2 helps any. I just did my second mpg calculations. I got 36mpg
I was well happy with that.
But DVD sat nav will be before any of that.
Just need to commit to one. :/

geez..would love 36mpg!!! Mines an auto so roughly 22 around town and 30 on a run :( been told that it can be as good as 28-30 around town with a box on, hope it is cos it will have paid for itself after a couple of tankful's!!
 
lol aT YOU TWO !

i didnt fit mine for fuel saving ! mines on setting 10 (the highest) all the time, once you have tried your freelander on the 10 setting you wont want to go back to eco, so much quicker than before the synergy.

also fitted the EGR kit, and upgraded breather and K&N air filter - these all made a difference and now it gives the little 1.6 boy racer fiesta's a run for there money ! lol

well worth the money tho, Rover rons boxes are the bollocks :p:p:p

lol you nutter! setting 10!!!!! better get it booked in for recon injectors soon lol ;)

should be here tomorrow so time for a play :D just change all the filters and cleaned all the crud out of the egr and blanked off the vac pipe with dazjams peg n pipe mod and it has improved it alot already :)

just fancied a bit more mpg... 250 miles out of a tank at 80 quid is a bit of a killer!!!

good stuff, it only takes an hour to fit, so you will have it up and running in no time.

just when you fit it, put it on setting 9, then take it out for a spin !

you will be suprised, i ****ed myself when i did, just a pure shock of the difference in power gained after fitting the unit.

you will notice as soon as you blip the throttle after fitting it, it is much more responsive :D

dont forget the install piccys mark ! :p:p:p
 
yea, even mine does 200+ miles on £45 with synergy on setting 10 ! and mines manual too. :D:D:D

yeah your right there mate...my 1st td4 was a manual and i got 30+ without even trying, couldn't believe the figures for the auto, wish i'd waited for a manual now....

I took her on the dirt the other day so can't wait to see what I get this time.
Frigging glad I didn't go for auto though 22
Might as well got a range petrol with gas.

What do you get on your speedy little girl then. And is yours the petrol? Or did you sell and get a diesel?

when looking for my td4 i struggled to find any manuals, there all bloody autos ! how are the autos then ? other than there fuel economy ?? :D

and yea, gives the speedy little boy racers a run for their money ! lol iv had a couple try and cut me up and i just foot the gas and they were left behind me !

well worth the £150 !

make sure you fit the pierburg maf with the synergy otherwise you cant use the higher settings without killing your current maf, worth the extra £40 for the better maf.

pretty good actually :D couple of different full auto modes, sport mode (doesn't change up til it redlines!) and manual steptronic mode for when you want some fun ;) just the mpg is a pig lol

Don't know what maf is but will look it up
