First Timer

Hi I own a Defender 2004, 90 Pick up which I have had rebuilt from a mechanical perspective. Which I could say I did any of it but I did not. It is perfect but I would really value any help as I am trying to replace the locking mechanism parts on the drivers door side and can not get the window handle off to remove the door card as the manual says it is a screw but mine is not.
Any advice would be really welcomed.
