Not much help to you but the other night i pumped fuel through on my RR 200tdi. New pipes from tank too, took a couple of mins on the lift pump to get all the way through and fill filter. As above if lift pump doesnt feel like its doing anything then turn the engine slightly

Finally got fuel to injectors when I loosed them, but still none from filter. Battery's flat gonna take one off my Disco and try it again

Whoopee it's just started, let it run for a few seconds then it started reving up really hard as if someone had there foot on throttle, had to turn it off. Started up again and it done the same. What's causing it to Rev up like that ?

I moved the thing where the throttle cable goes on pump and it is OK now unless. I move it again
Gonna start it again later tonight . How long can I / should let it run for ?

Well done it’s. A good feeling eh , it’s a nervous time first start
If you have it full of coolant and oil and can see the temp and oil light as it should be then I would run for 5 mins and check water level se if it’s dropped
Top up if necessary and give it another go check for leaks, check see it’s charging , run until warm check heater
Make sure nothing can catch on prop ie loose cables , dangly speedo cables  all nuts tight
Enjoy

Don’t choke on the fumes ;)
Nearly did the very first time it started but after that it was OK.

Gave it a couple of minuets tonight It didn't Rev up again like first time. Hasn't lost any water or oil that I can see, will give it a good 5 minutes tomorrow night, then check everything. Nor sure if it sounds right or not, got a couple of Videos, cant remember hoe to get them on here now, but will try to get them on later.

Here it is Not sure if it sounds good or not, seems to be a bit of rattle from fan belt area, but then again I wouldn't know.

I would run it for longer & not worry yet. everything needs to move a round &bed in.

just make sure everything is tight before next start up & monitor.
Looking good now. Bet that’s a weight of your mind with it starting/stopping

its hard to tell from vids, but you could remove belt and see if any of the idlers are rough turning,it will sound better with air box connected etc
