I live around the wash on the lincs/cambs/norfolk borders and the countryside is flat but full of dykes, rivers and shed loads of water. Maybe i will get a kit i thought the v8 would be ok because the dizzy cap is high on the engine but i know you can screw the starter motor up because its low down on the engine bay......get water mud & crap in it.

i think the bloke to speak too about v8's would be grippa ... he offroads his so he would know ..... thier is a knack to keepin the water out the engine bay , thats the problem ...

Do the majority of people on here have diesels then and not v8's.

i'm not sure but i would imagin so .... cheaper to run and all that ....

i'd have a v8 disco if i could justify the runnin costs , but i would'nt offroad it cos of the lectrics .. but thats my opinion and others would disagree ......

Its different for me because i work at home, i think if i did'nt i would still use a landy as a second car. If i could only afford to run one car i would run a v8 with lpg kit because diesel is getting so expensive. But some lpg kits can be more trouble than their worth. Anyway off to bed got to be up early.
