Finishing off V8 conversion, alternator help needed.

Hi everyone,

I have almost finished putting a 3.9 disco lump in my defender but last on the list is the alternator setup, the disco engine had 1 belt do the whole lot inc aircon pump but due to not fitting the aircon pump or even having the space to do so, so the belt obviously dont fit anymore does anyone have a solution i.e. a shorter belt from a specific model or ?????????

The serpentine belt from a base spec V8 Disco without air con should fit

is that the v belt if so then it wont as mine is the flat belt with the ribs in it.

no serpentine belt is a polyvee flat belt
