Hi Guy's, Over the last few days i have noticed now and again that it is hard to get it into gear, does'nt happen all the time like i said, and it's all the gears. Any idea's? Thanks

Maybe an oil change would smooth things out.

Beginning to think it's the Clutch slave cylinder! When the engine is running there's resistance when i am trying to get into any gear, then whilst still pressing the gear lever, if i turn the engine off, it slides straight into gear?? Any ideas Cheers

it works hydraulically from the master cylinder push rod doesn't it.
If it is a k-series or an l- series it is a sealed for life assembly and can't be topped up.
If it is a td4 then you could try to top up the hydraulic fluid.

Yep, it's the L series.:)

Hi Guys, Changed the clutch pack yesterday, thought this had sorted the problem, just the same, does this mean i need a new clutch?? Anybody know the price for this job doing? Cheers

Freebie is in the garage now!! £280 for clutch, and flywheel needed skimming £30, so thats £310 in total, should be picking up in next couple of hours.

..does that include labour?....

Yep! Thought that was quite reasonable. Thought i would phone main dealer for a laugh this morning, £898.61 for the clutch and if it needed the flywheel too, that would be a further £600!!
