I've got 235 85 Malatesta Kaimans on .. feckin' ace! Couldn't be bothered to take the time to sort out fitting larger tyres .. but I would thoroughly recommend them.

Remoulds. Look identical to Fedima moulds with the side lugs .. but half the price ish ..

I had the malakatesas on mine but 31" very rarely gtot stuck apart from grounding out, self cleaning is amazing on them noisy on road and twitchy above 60mph

Right well gonna orders some tyres at lunch today to make sure I get them in time for the weekend.
Still can't decide between the 285's or 33's. First being better in mud and second having wider track for improved road handling and make the truck look awesome lol.
Ah well, see what tyres-direct have to say on the subject.

33x12.5

At least you look cool when you're stuck, that's the most important thing :p

In that criteria maybe he'd maybe be better looking at 35's, or even 37's then.

Not that I want to make his choice harder, you understand .. :)

Lol bugger off, 33's max!

I agree for laning etc. Mine are about 32 ish, 235 x 85 R16's, but I must admit if I had the time and werewithall to do it I'd get 35's .. 2" can be bigger than it appears to be .. :)

I also want good articulation and I think 35's will restrict that too much. Same thing that worries me about 33x12.5's.
Need mr. noisey to put up a nice axle twist shot lol

Hence why I didn't go bigger ..

I didn't really want a body lift, I'm a right feckin' shortarse, and I didn't have time to work the arches to fit larger tyres stuffing, or re-arrange the suspension elements. These tyres on mine don't touch the wheel wells, but I did have to cut the front bumper ends and rear bodywork, but that's easy .. :)

It's all a compromise somewhere, working the happy bit in the middle somewhere is a real art!

Yer I think your right. Just spoken to tyres-direct and they recommended the Fedima's in 285 format. £845 delivered for 5 on -35 offset modulars. Worked out to only be an inch thinner than the 33's and a lot cheaper.

Think that's what I'm gonna go for, gonna be better for the new suspension. Good groud clearance and maximum artulation. :)
