Finally I belong

Right now I feel like a proper disco owner, gripe gripe my sunroof leaks

ok moan over and at risk of being shot down with the search the site comments:
I have and either Im really poor at looking or ...

as the sunroof has got to come out - it's leaking from the mounting frame, whats the best sealant to use?

I dont want to use silicone - acid cure is a bit on a no-no on cars.

I was thinking gutter sealant but if anyones got better ideas

Which Sikaflex ? they seem to have loads of different one's.

as a guess 220, as this is what they use to bond windscreens

If you use Sikaflex and it does have to come out for any reason in the future, i.e., mechanism failure, you will do more damage getting it out than anything that Silicon could do. If you don't like to use a silicon based sealer then use a non hardening sealant like gutter seal. Sikaflex / Tigaseal is for permanent fixtures not intended to be taken apart again and if used on something like a sunroof frame, you will have to hack it out and will definitely damage the frame and your roof.
