Can't believe no one mentioned the Gymkhana, that Accy had put on spesshully. Even had a couple of shetland ponies for the vertiically challenged that were there. Shame Paul D & Accy never partook of em.. :D

As for feedback there was a good selection of all types of landies. I took a Gaylander & a P38 on the laning trip that I led. Hopefully a larger number will mean a similar ratio as this years event.

Name tags would be great. Cos, wiv my Alzheimers I had forgotten who was who by 11pm Friday.

WLM laid on a great Disco and played some cracking tunes. shame he forgot to bring the box with the C&W records, :D Get him booked, quick..

cinema tent was awesome.

Maybe less chasing cows round a field, at 07:00 on a sunday morning..

The sight of you chasing cows, wood in hand, is something I'm very glad I slept through :p

Here's my feedback....and I couldn't go. Me and hubby initially were dusting off the tents and I almost bought the tickets but pony then need treatment 3xday (and still does) meaning I can't leave her for any length of time. By next year, should be a different story, so, living on the East Suffolk Coast wherever you hold it is going to be a trek, but that's ok, I'm miles from anywhere to be honest and used to it so a central point in the UK would be fair. Ok some of us will have to go further but wherever you pick will be near or far, depending where you are!

Sounded fabulous and well done to those who put all the time and effort in. I have a feeling this time next year it will be even bigger and better :D

If we were meant to ride horses, and I still couldn't have reached the Shetlands, they'd have a brake and throttle ...

And for those who worried about the beer and prices, I took and drank me own .. I suggest that way anyone can drink anything they want and enjoy it. Juliet loved the beers on sale, I ain't keen on real ales, so took cheap crap ... but did buy one to try ...

For me it wasn't about location, personalities, hotels, camping or whatever, it was about acknowledging the forum and what the people behind it have put in for 10 years, and what we are able to get out of it, FOR FREE! I donate a little, which is about all I can afford, and this was a way to show more support for the forum, not a chance to score points against personalities.

Frankly I'd have gone anywhere, whether in the South or North or wherever, I just made sure I saved the pennies to afford the fuel (Jeez but a 19j is thirsty after a 300Tdi).

I don't care where it is next year, the only thing that'll stop me attending is if I've already arranged something before the dates are published, and even then 'it depends', or a catastrophe.

There's ya answer - £50 a night or £120 for three.

Better still yu know your costs. Divide by the peeps that attended this year and there's ya basic costing.

Mind yu - if peeps complain about the price of the beer.......
