OK....

Pulled up at work and got out noticed a stream of liquid from NSF wheel well, feck it the stupid little pipe has popped off the washer bottle again (happens a lot dumping screen wash everywhere!)....go to check it just to make sure and the fecking bonnet cable snaps.....

Come into the office, load up RAVE to see how to replace the bonnet cable.....can I find it, can I feck....

A prize of kudos and being a smart arse to anyone who can find it in RAVE and post it here for me......please!

What end has snapped ? If its the inside car end can you cut Outer sleeve and pull inner cable.

Snapped at the handle.....so with luck no great shakes in replacing it!

Get a pair of Walnut trimmed vice grips to match the interior and clamp them on the end of the broken cable. Job sorted.

RAVE lists it (thankfully) as a bonnet, but to find the thread on RR.net I had to use 'Hood'....

Ohhhhhh so thats who they kept chanting pee-wee too....I thought it was the other chap who came out without a jacket and, bless him, he looked so cold....but that fat bird kept him warm later on....

Saint, if you look on the other forum (FF) I have two photos in my gallery (LPG V8 Autobiography). I had exactly the same prob but haven't got round to changing it yet. There is a "how to" in the FFrr forum i think.
