FBH Question

Hi Chaps,
FBH is starting to **** me off !. If i find the wires to the temp sensor then cut them and extend them back up to the dash to a switch, then back to temp sensor will this work ? so i can control when it comes on and off not it control me.

you can buy the remote system for it but I would go with the positive feed wire and put a switch in that
Interupting the positive feed to the fbh will mean it wont be able to go through its proper shutting down sequence.
The combustion fan and water pump need to keep running to cool the fbh down after the burner has shut down.
 
yes mine keeps running after switch off even when the air temps not that cold think ill look into a new sensor
 
wooops made a mistake again I think it is the old grey matter , I am glad I do not have a fbh on my new one ,the old one kept running all the time until I pulled the plug on the bottom of it .

Yes, that is like my problem except its on most off the time, and when out lampin you can garentee that the dam thing will start up just when you get a beed on a fox, the sound of somthing similer to a c130 going over head dont do much good in that area off my job. Where would i be able to get a new sensor ?
