As some of you may recall about 6 months ago I fitted a new intank pump on my Diesel p38
Now im not sure if the fuel sender is ok
Ive been topping up with 10-20 bursts for last few month but today since ive been payed I thought id brim it
Ive been driving round for 2 days with the warning light on (about 30 miles) so I was pushing my luck
But when I went to fill her up she only took 60L
Though they had a 90l tank? Surly cant be 30l (+ whatever 30 miles of driving used) on warning light?

You possibly bent the float wire when you changed the pump. Warning lamp should come on with two gallons left in tank.

No worrys guys cheers
Was thinking next time the light comes on reset my odomiter and see how many miles I can do. But then I thought better of it since its a diesel and it would be a right bitch to get going again
Guess I can live with it afterall its took about 6 months to even notice lol
