Fancy a swap?

I've got a large 2.5 N/A OR 2.5 TD radiator in very good condition that I'd like to swap for a 200TDi / 300TDi Disco or Defender radiator if any one has one? (The one with built in oil cooler) I've got one for my conversion but half the finns are missing! If you can't swap but you do have one in good condition, how much would you like for it?

thers two or three rads down me yard, will be there tomorrow and have a look , not promissing awt tho,

Okiedokie. Well the one Ive got waiting to go in just crumbles away like a digestive biscuit at the front. The back side is alright but I'm not very happy about the condition of it. Let me know if you find anything in good shape!

reet, it were dark thismornin when i were loading up the trailer fer work , thers one there but its so full of mud and cow **** , i dunt think i would trust it , it must weigh half a tonne more with the crap in it ! the other one yer could stick yer finger thru !
have noticed a rad in me mates unit so will be calling in tomorrow, see if he wants to part with it !

yer tried ebay ?

Ahh right well thanks for having a look

I can't see your mate wanting to get rid of a radiator in a perfectly good working TDi! I've had a good luck on ebay but I think what I'll end up doign is putting it on my Christmas list or just making do with the one I've got for now. It doesn't leak, its just a bit naff! I'll see how it goes.

ere a nice rad plus cooler went for £21 not so far from you on ebay today

I was eyeing that up last night! Sean is sending me another intercooler so it's mainly just the rad that I'm after. The problem is most people take the pictures of the back of the rad and intercooler where they get no abuse! The back of my rad is mint, but the front is like a bowl of cornflakes!

yeah the one dint look too bad, but yer never kno with ebay

if i get time i could try and pressure wash the **** out of one , but it dont look promising, :doh:

if yours dunt leak , yer could get away using it fer a bit i spose , least yers got somethin till yer drop on one

True. I'll use it for now and then when I've managed to save up enough pennies I'll buy a new one to drop in. Simple really! It'll do for now
