Fan fuse keeps blowing

The fuse on my fan (the in-car one) keeps blowing. Is this likely because the motor's gone, or coz of a short (not checked ANYTHING out yet, just wondered what bits i'd need!) - if it's the fan, can i just replace the motor? Not too bothered only i keep steaming up - (that'll teach me not to keep stoppin in them doggin laybys!!!)

does it have a ballast resistor? does the motor turn? do you have a corroded terminal somewhere?

dunno...no (don't think so!)...dunno. All was absolutely fine till last week (when i put something else right so something else had to go wrong)

summat might have got in there and stopped the motor turning........ like a screwdriver

Will have a look tomorrow, i've not done any work in that area and not aware of copious mud going in there but just looked on fleabag at the price of replacement motors so if necessary will do without! 79 fookin squid ffs!!!
