Fan belt ?

Hi guys
Would anyone have the part number for a fan belt for a series 2a fitted with a Disco 200tdi conversion please, no power steering fitted so just the one belt.

Thanks to the mod's for moving it as i wasn't really sure where to post the thread with it being for a conversion

Damn, ETC7469 has just arrived in the post and just by looking at it it won't fit as its a very small belt about a foot long if i stretch it with my fingers, i may have confused the situation though by calling it a fan belt rather than an alternator belt so its an alternator belt i need to run from the crank pulley, water pump pulley and alternator pulley

Just take the old one up the autofactors etc and compare it until you find one the same

Thats the thing i've re-dressed a Def 200 as a Disco 200 as the Def's timing case was damaged and binned the old belt as its not needed

Will your pullies still line up OK? On a disco the alt is driven by the short belt you have off the PS pump, which is driven off the long belt crank/fan so alt is not in line with those

As shown in the disco parts catalogue for the 200 tdi aux belts, ERR 810 power steering, ETC7469 alternator, ETC9009 air con. So just the three.

Get some string wrap round the pullies, measure this or take. To auto factors they will sort you out.

Yeah to be honest I've only just got hold of a Disco water pump pulley as the Def pulley won't fit the flange on the Disco water pump and only just fitted it today and i'm also using the Def crank pulley and looking at them all it suddenly hit me as to when I did my last S2a Disco 200tdi ( 10 yrs ago ) I had to space the alternator out so everything lined up which meant cutting the alternator bracket to allow the alternator to move over which I will need to do with this one so once I've done that they should all line up and I only used the one belt
