i dont think my 90 needs anymore heating... it gets hot enough on its own! i will be using that pipe as another snorkel because i feel that 2 is better than one... especially one of that bore! hope the extra weight wont 'tilt' my 90 :D it should also increase the airflow some what!

oooooo... their made out of aluminium :) i think my air filter output is 74mm and my snorkel 64mm.

ive written it down at home and cant quite remember it off the top of me head. i guess some reducers or packed with rubber would suffice in making that up. all tied down with some jubilee's :D

cheers for the link ormus, i might well be using some of my hard earned paypal balance to fund it.

now, does anyone know how to seal off the base of the air filter box where the spring clips, clip it down? im worried water might get in that way :(

the post continues!

If you are going to get the snorkel working, do the job right and move it over to the other side where it should be. By the sound of it, it will be no more work than all the f^%%ing around you will have to do involving ducting etc. It can't be that difficult a job.

maybe not...

i dont mind drilling the other wing or having a go at riviting the mounts in place but how do i go about repairing the hole in the drivers side wing? ive also got chequer plates on both to make things more difficult :(

ive thought of plating it over, but that would look ****. would polyfiler work? but then i would have to replace the chequer wing top :( more riviting.

I dunno, seems cheaper and easier to run a length of duct :D

those are also sooooo much more expensive! the series vent seems best so far. although its going to look really **** with one air intake on the other wing and a random series intake further back on the opposite wing :( anyway snorkle is the least of my worries, i have to sort handbrake before next months MOT!
