Hi there folks,
I'm alex or teshu take your pick.
Just agreed to buy a land rover discovery manual TDI on an 1994 L plate. For what I think is a decent price of £1700.
We'd seriousley consoidered buying a black cab but couldn't find one we felt happy about - £2k for a 1989 fairway model from a dealer.
So in the end we decided we go for a discovery as we've fancied one for years.
Selling a BMW 523i on e-bay and buying a cheaper discovery to free up some cash a smoved house and the BMW although nice does nothing for me or the girlfriend.
So it's dark green and a 2.5 diesel engine, had alittle test drive and felt good no problems I could tell, little (as in not much at all) grindy into 2nd but seamed OK. Was a bit of rust near the boot entrance but no signs of damp and all the window seals were in good nick. Couldn't see any signs of damp.
Fairly excited as it feels like the right car to both me and my girlfriend.
Picking it up on Sunday.
Teshu
