Put a new bulb in the back light.

aha so this could turn out to be the cheapest fix on the old girl thanks wammers will sort it out

A friend of mine took her 206 Pug to the dealers with no odometer visible. They said it would cost around £250.00 to repair it. It took me 20mins and cost her 50p for a new bulb. :):)
