F4 and Descend sign

Ben from Kenya,
My Freelander HSE TD4,Diesel ,2005 Engine started to slip gears, then F4 fault, I changed the solenoids and now the gears are fine but anytime I get to REV 4 the F4 and descent sign comes on,I have to switch off the Engine and start it again...any advice?

You need to read the codes, to help point you in the right direction.

I had an issue with my TD4 gearbox, which I never did find the fault, so sold it with the fault.

When you say rev 4, do you mean gear 4?
