I've a Freelander 1 2006 facelift (April 2006).

Recently, the driver's door window regulator failed. I ordered a replacement - apparently LR006371 - but when I tried to fit it, I found the electrical connector pins on the replacement motor are quite different to the OE and you can't 'plug' it in.

The supplier is adamant I've got the right part.

Before I return it, have I got the right part number, or is there something I am missing?

Cheers,

Jack.

Looks like you've pulled the old connector apart in the wrong place !

In your OE door connector photo, squeeze the metal clip and that should seperate into 2 parts giving you the plug you need to fit the new window motor.

And that's the answer!

Bloody stiff/ stuck, but hardly surpising after 18 years and I can see why the motor fitting failed first.

Thanks very much - much appreciated.

Cheers,

Jack.
