Extra/second battery

Hi All,
Was wondering whilst at work today, during this cold weather would a second battery help with starting ect. I know that in some of the bigger landys' such as the defenders some have a second battery to assist with starting. I don't think it would be a big job to do in the work shop what do you guys think.

If your battery is good and your charging system is working ok you won't need another. Unless you want to power other stuff when the engines off.
