hi, now ive got my larger wheels and tyres im looking at getting myself some extended arches to save the crap shooting up the sides, what I want to know, is it possible to get them that use the existing holes, because I don't want to have to drill the wings or glue them
regards

You can get arch extensions for the existing arches that look pretty tidy.

I have +2" arches on my 110 with 33x12.5s and even though the arches cover the tyres, with a 2" lift, they are atill useless for stopping all the side of the Defender getting covered with mud when off-roading and splashes from puddles on the road as it comes up past the bottom of the arches. Wider mudflaps help but the gap between the mudflaps and the arches still let it get destroyed.

I quite like these 110mm arches from Devon 4x4, but they cost £200!!!

Thank god you showed us these I didn't even consider the other websites but now I'm defo getting mine from paddocks, cheers mate!! :D

make sure you check material same for same, as some become brittle with cold and age, which is the case of some cheaper stuff, and see if fasteners are included and are stainless, some give plated steel which will rust

plated steel fasteners may rust but stainless steel ones will make your aluminium panels corrode so kinda between a rock and a hard place really

thanks for all your help , but i didnt want to make any more holes in the wings i wanted arches that fitted just existing holes
cheers

Does anyone know - with the Paddock ones, would it be ok to fill the screw holes with filler and spray the arches? The screw holes look terrible (in my opinion). Short of that, doesn't anyone make arches that fit the original holes, but are simply wider to accommodate wider wheels? I've just lashed out £1700, only to find that the hub adaptors that allow me to use 'Evoque' wheels make my wheels stick out by almost two inches! No one seems to know exactly which law actually covers this (I've trawled the web all afternoon), though I'm certain to get pulled up if I venture out on the road. And anyway, I don't want road grit sprayed up the sides, or fling a stone at the car behind me either. Any help is greatly appreciated - thanks.

I recon If you fill over the holes and paint, That the filler would crack and possibly fall out eventually.
Oh and head over to the introduce your self section

aaron, done.

I was afraid someone would say that the filler would crack and fall out - even flexible filler? I suppose the problem is that the Paddock arches are themselves flexible. The only thing I can come up with is a wide black rubber band, fitted perpendicular to the current arch lip, or some sort of plastic wheelarch liner that extends out enough to act as a legal cover.
