Hi all

Yes another EAS question! This time though, i have a working system but wondering if anyone knows how to fool the EAS into putting the vehicle into extended height mode for a short period. I off-road and sometimes you need it even when not grounded out.

Also, I want to add a pressure gauge in-line somewhere so I can see how the system pressure is doing and an indicator light to identify if the compressor is running or stopped due to thermal cut out. Any advice where to do that please?

Thanks

Never seen a mod to give extended height mode.
A pressure gauge is just another potential leak IMO.
The thermal cut out on the compressor should never activate if the EAS does not have leaks. It's easy enough to fit an LED indicator across the compressor feed to show when it is operating.

I was thinking of doing that and a light to show when the tank pump was running and anything else thatruns intermittently, the dash would look like a fecking rave.:D

Yep one for the EAS compressor and another for the WABCO brake pump, how about one or two for the electric fans? One to show half speed and the other for full speed. Then you could have another to show when you press the brake pedal, the possibilities are endless:rolleyes::D

If you have Nanocom (or RSW) you could probably just increase the High setting adjustment? Not sure what the extended heights officially are though- high is 510 from hub to wheel arch, standard is 470

On my manual I could rig up a second brake switch so I could have a light to tell me when I pressed the clutch pedal:rolleyes::D

You cannot increase the height settings beyond the limit allowed for each height setting.

Found my bible.

Not good idea driving about @ +70mm on standard setup
