Evening all

many thanks
kris

yo dont need to extend hoses unless you got a spring and shock lift aswell

That's not what the sellers of the 2inch kit say mate. Have you done it without them? If so what's the originals like at full extension suspension travel? Are the pulled tight?

tell him he,s talking out of his ass , i used them for about a year had no probs off road and thats all i donr just fitted spacers

I have already bought them, so I will fit them aswel. How tight are the brake lines at full travel mate?

i havent fitted them yet i dont want to fit them and then need the brake lines as i use it off road daily so dont want to rip the exisiting ones

How come the lift kit suppliers make no mention of different VINs when selling the kits? Surely the brake lines they sell can't fit all models if the hoses can't be bought separate for all models in a single kit!??

Don't know lol :)

You don't really need them.I mean it's not essential. I had extended hoses on my V6 with a 2" lift but I've not got them on my Td4. The Td4 also has a 2" lift and the ARB removed for even greater articulation and TBH I've had the suspension at full travel and had absolutely no problems , the standard hoses not even close to being stressed or stretched. I've run the Td4 like this for years. I've never heard of anyone snapping/damaging standard brake hoses, and lets face it, how many 2" kits have been fitted without extended hoses ? I'd guess most of them.
