The tab has pretty much failed at the join to the crossmember (despite there being no signs of rust anywhere) - it's not all the way through yet, but there's enough movement to allow other parts of the exhaust system to rattle on the chassis. I fear that welding a replacement tab may be the only answer but, as I can't weld, am hoping that others may have found alternative solutions - thanks in advance!

If you can’t access a welder, your only other option I think is to drill and bolt a bracket somewhere.
