Exhaust Center Box

Good to hear, sounds similar to my Janspeed system but a little more throaty. Thought about this myself but didn't want to hear anything on a motorway run etc.

Do you have center boxes on that? I have just standard rear boxes, infact it was a brand new exhaust that I had fitted at the same time. (along with a new rad and aux belt... old girl has been demanding this month)

I will take a better video when I get 5 minutes, joys of being bed ridden with flu/plague for the last few days!

Yep, mine has the centre box (i'ts the full cat back system). I replaced mine for the same reason as centre box was in a pretty bad state.
Just had the aircon sorted out on mine this month but might look to do the centre box delete for a bit of fun next month. Like you say, easy enough to put back on if it's too much.

I will have to get my pliers out today and whip a few out. Is there any spacing I need to get the firing order right ?:hysterically_laughi:hysterically_laughi

Yeah course there is. From your chosen first spoke, count 8 then remove that one, then 4 and remove that one in the sequence 1 8 4 3 6 5 7 2. Although doing this could cause the wheel to collapse. Then you would have to do what V8 owners have to do, get a lift or catch a bus. :D:D

Did as you advised and I am now walking.:hysterically_laughi:hysterically_laughi:hysterically_laughi

How do you know your V8 is misfiring......it starts to sound like a healthy diesel :p

Diesel engines have but one purpose in life, to be by far and away the most reliable form of internal combustion engine. Sound bites are a non essential element in their superiority. :p:D

I agree, in a commercial vehicle!

For a laugh I keep a document with the start and end milages of all the vehicles I have ever owned, looking through it I have owned 1 diesel and its the ONLY car to have ever let me down ;) Not bad with a list containing a pair of twin turbo 300zx's Range Rover, an M3 and an M5. However I will admit the none functioning diesel was french... (total circa 150k)

However I have had a myriad of vans all with diesel engines and only 2 of those have ever let me down so that's 2 out of 13 (aint bad....its not quite the song but close!) Over 250k in the vans

When did a petrol engined car last win Le Mans? :D:D
