Exessive play in front wheel

Need help as i'm having problems with essive play in the front passanger side wheel. Brakes seem to have gone very spongy. Can anyone please advise as i don't know anything about mechanics??????

need a bit more information but if you have no oil in the swivel then the top and bottom swivel bearings can collapse giving play at the wheel and a funny feel to the stearing... urgent attention required..

Tell us a bit more, describe the symptoms and tell us what bus it is...
