Excess capillary tubes

Just removed the aftermarket gauges from my 2a lightweight as they looked gash.

anyway, undid the cap. tube from the back of the oil pressure guage and fed it back into the engine bay. found the sender. but what do I do with it?

I was going to remove the sender, but dont know what I should plug it with or if Im going to lose a few litres of oil.

do I cut it and crimp the end? but I want to sell the gauge on, not bin it.

what do people suggest?

isnt it into a T piece, Griff? if it is, remove the T and replace the warning light sensor into the same hole as the T.

Its on that old Rover P5 V8 thats in my lightweight

Cant see much down there. I assume oil is going to go everywhere when I get it undone!?
