Ex M.O.D Unregistered old and no paperwork

I work with someone whos dad has an unregistered ex M.O.D Landy in his shed, has done for a long long time, ive asked her to find out the details and condition of it. She is sure that all the documents have been lost and other than that its pretty good nick. Couple of things i was thinking.
1) Is it possible to Register this vehicle without the original documents?
2) I guess i could take it apart and put it all on mine except chassis which would be too big a job for little ole me anyways.
If it came to the 2nd i guess i could hire a shed somewhere for a few months. Then somehow get rid of whatevers left. (somehow or other).

dunno what its like over there, but here u can get the seller to sell it as scrap, the u gotta re-register it and get it roadworthy. dont need the paperwork to scrap the vehicle, just engine,chassis, vin number

you should be able to re register the vehicle as long as you have either mod reg or the vin, you can get the records of manufacture from land rover and apply for a year relevant plate but the vehicle has to be mot'ed first.
