After checking out the food prices of the Golden Pot it has been decoded that it's too expensive for us.
So we have decided to move the venue to the Poachers in South Warnborough. More details to follow.

Buggr, Golden Pot is right on my doorstep but the Poachers does do excellent food.

You're all going there to eat then? I thought we'd all just stand around laughing at eachother landies?

Last time we went to the Poachers there were complaints of the food being too expensive and its cheaper the the Golden Pot.

I'll probably eat before I come out so I'll leave it to those eating to fight it out.

The Pot changed hands recently - it always used to be expensive. Not been in there since it reopened. That menu looks more like a restaurant than a pub!

Can't recall the prices at the Poacher - only been there for Sunday roast and it's been consistently very good and didn't seem expensive.

Scoff at the Poacher is good and they don't seem phased by oodles of landies cluttering up the place

Unfortunately not only am I still Landy-less (but fund is growing ) I am also still in the Land of Sheep so won't be able to make this one

Looks like a lot of rain this afternoon and tonight and got lots of bikes and cars to fix so gonna give it a miss.

I probably won't make this one guys. Tis a fair step from Bracknell to home and then all way over to Warnborough and back again....... about 130 miles round trip.
I might make the next one though.

There are signs out for resurfacing works starting Monday at that end of South Warnborough (just for the length of the rumble strips).

Should be ok at that time of night, but going by the usual cockup they make of setting up traffic lights for this kind of thing in that area, it'll be mayhem during the rush hours.
