on my 2002 r r on the dash computer keeps sayin check engine coolnt level any1 no wot it may be the level is fine in the water res

At least you have the alarm. Mine does not have it and over heated cause it had no water/coolant. You can verify if it has a sensor and verify the cables.

oh by the way its a l322

have had a few of these lately mostly turned out to be not enough antifreeze(must be 50%) or the wrong type of antifreeze,the sensor doesnt actualy go in the coolant just in a tube in the expansion bottle and the density of the water makes a lot of difference to the sensor,check this first if you are 100% that both are correct then the sensor is up the shoot if u fit a new one cut the plastic cover off it carefully as it is stuck on quite well and sensor is easily broken

same prob with my l322, ended up having to put a new header tank on, try pulling the switch connector of and cleaning it first though, i had to go the expensive way .
