haha - no british army not mercenary! im in the TA - which means if i have a suitable vehicle i can take and use it on ex! also do cadet training with local cadets, which involves taking my current car (citroen c2 gt - not a capable offroader let me tell you) on military area's - many of which contain tracks which really arent suited to anything other than landies or bedfords!

im driving down to rome in sept so will be heading through france, im looking to do this in less than a week down and a week up, so keep us posted if thats in your plan for a day or 2

yea will be doing rome on the way to corfu - but we are far more roundabout. will be in rome or nearby in september though - either on the way there or back!

ive just booked 7 to 21 sept off work,cant decide as to overland to bulgaria or instead of flying to rome in july as planned for a mini break again(just a week)if i should do BG in july instead(fly)and then take a drive down to rome taking in pompei on the way so keep me posted guys,,,,may well be askin to tag along if the dates coincide

can quite possibly coincide something - or meet somewhere out there. we were looking at a more relaxed trip, so if we are leaving late august time that would mean we could meet in italy somewhere during the dates you mentioned
