Here and there.
Found this big puddle of water in the boot today. I'm hoping that it's the owner left the rear window open once.

More likely it's ****ty seals.

The under floor locker is also known as a fish tank on here ;)

Good to know! What's the the primary source of the water? I dried it all out but next day it was swimming again (despite it not raining overnight). I don't really care except the fancy harmon cardon sub is soaking in it....

No worries, as I said, I'm in a good mood. :)

However if I'd seen your other post i would have ranted. I showed the pic on that thread to my mrs and asked if she'd any idea what the bottles are, bearing in mind she drives a 206 but doesn't maintain it and hasn't been under the bonnet of a gaylander, she deduced what each of the bottles were...

May I suggest looking in your manwell before posting a xxxxxxx xxxxxx question.

What year did you pass your test?

Yeah, read it again, I don't have a manual yet. I'm sorry that I don't instinctively know what every component of every engine is; that's why I'm on a forum asking questions and trying to learn. And since you ask, 1997. Do with that whatever you like.

I get the whole forum etiquette thing, really I do, but sometimes there's just being a #### for no reason. I'm so sorry if my newbie questions don't challenge you.

Here's a thought.. If they don't why not just skip on by and let someone else answer.

If this is you in a good mood then #### me your wife must be a strong woman to put up with you when you're in a bad mood.

Every good argument starts with "hey! Don't know what we're talking about but here's my opinion!" That's the internet for you.

But no, you're right. You, bushwackers "missus" (of whatever gender) everyone else on this forum and my 6 week old son all know what every bottle does. It's just me, I'm the exception.

Well except my "missus" (who is a woman, FYI)... she said "is that for the squirty bit for the windscreen" I guess we're both as thick as pig**** by this forum's standards.

not a very original one tho, is it??

No,you're right, there I go, stating the obvious again. I must have missed the part of the free forum registration process which confirmed i had memorised the appropriate Haynes manual. Apologies. I'll go and learn everything there is to know before asking any more questions.

Mrs Bushwwacker to you sir.

You're a beardy-wordy clucker aren't you?

Have you tried the search button to the top right?

(May I recommend the advanced option as it usually gives a better range of replies to common questions).

:)

hey! Don't know what we're talking about but here's my opinion!

I suggest running questions past your 6 week old son first.

but there are issues... A few lights on the dash and I'm guessing the inlet manifold rattle. But hey it was really really cheap so just want to do the bare minimum to get it approximately road worthy and run it for a few years!

Seriously, if you can't identify the coolant bottle, WTF did you buy a car needing work? I hope you're a quick learner.

I had a 110 about 5 years ago which needed a lot of work and when I got tired of walking to work...

Oh dear.

I just refitted mine correctly and so far so good....if it dont look broke might just need refitting.

Also check the rear window is aligned properly and not off to one side.:)
