Had to chop a handbrake cable whilst overhauling wheel bearing!! EPB was working before this task was undertaken allow some intermittent EPB gearbox noise was evident at time to time probability due to poor brake adjustment.
Completely overhauled brakes with shoes pads and disks, set up correctly with new cables to EPB
Gearbox stripped and new cogs fitted as spring had dislodged
EPB latched however red handbrake light flashes continually when handbrake engaged system goes straight to error orange flashing light with handbrake not available on dash
Codes read with SDD with C1A00-4B system internal failure- over temperature
Anyone any ideas how to sort without purchasing a new EPB??
