Just getting round to an oil change post billing mud run. Axles done.

Decided to do swivels as well. Looks like they have had one shot grease in them.

Do I put ep90 in or stick with grease?

I thought older land rovers were better with ep90?

Mind you it might explain why the swivels haven't leaked in the short time I have had her cause everything else leaks :)

Cheers

Ian

it does leak lesss but you cant tell how much is left in it so i top up to half way up in swivel with ep 90 ,as for lube qualities one shot seems no better than ep90

Change the seals and use EP90. As told me by an LR mechanic I trusted, one-shot grease is not one-shot and will need replenishment. Personally I've never trusted anything calling itself permanent - prefer to check and top up as needed and this way you know it's lubricated.

I found over the last year that one-shot does disappear slowly but EP90 can be topped up easy as mentioned and I have a can lying around for diffs n stuff.. If there is serious leaking, a seal change is necessary.
