Engine wanted - Oxford area

Hello chaps,

I'm after a 2.25 petrol, condition not too important as I'll give it an overhaul. Hopefully someone in the Oxfordshire area could help? Even a short motor would do as I have a recon head ready to fit.

I can give you one free to any Landy-Baby, good runner, Weber carb, took it out yesterday to fit a turbo diesel instead.

Snag is it's up here and you're down there ....

Well yes, but they are already thinking about a LONG trip towing, with a spare 2.5 NA diesel in the back - BUT - the Pink Fink has a runner 2.25 petrol IN IT NOW. I had it running yesterday.

As soon as they swap it for the diesel it's spare I suppose.

If someone in Yorkshire (???) could lend Mondo and HBG a big trailer next weekend they could easily bring the Pink Fink, and the two engines away from here. After that I can't help much.
