Engine Vibration

I have engine vibration in my freelander diesel year 2000 when im under 2000 RPM whats the problem

Which diesel is it? The L-series or the TD4?

Its the L - series

Please can you describe as much as you can about the problem.

When did it start?
Does it happen at idle?
Does reving the engine while stationary produce the vibration?
Is there any loss of performance?
Is there any visible exhaust smoke?
Are there any noises, other than the vibration?
Any warning lights?
Anything else you might have noticed.

There could be many reasons why you have this problem so as much information as possible to help us help you.

Yeah I agree with the burn it statement!

Appears that some have this problem just under 2000 RPM, I tried everything, NEVER SORTED IT!

I Have the same problem when the engine is under load vibrates like mad but once at cruise speed no problem Ive removed my propshaft as the garage thought it was that (the centre bearings which ive change while its off. thought i'd test it while the prop was of and its still the same. No warning light showing what could it be . HELPPPPPPPPPP.

wot injun? no damper on VCU?
