Hey,
After seeing the rather good deisel engine fitted in a Jag, I wondered if the same concept could be adjusted/fitted for a Defender TD5/300TDI/2.5L engine.
The above is vauge so I shall explain best I can.
Basically it used 2 turbos in order to get the proper umph from a deisel as well as reducing turbo lag.
Question is can you do a twin turbo set up on a Defender engine? That would increase BHP/Torque but at the same time not violently destroying MPG.
Ideally i'd like to have a Defender with a bit of speed & power but at the moment a V8 is too uneconomical Just wondering if a twin turbo set up would be any better.
If not then thread is a little pointless and I appologise...
Thanks
Josh.
