Engine sounds different after latest service

Engine sounds different since oil change and timing belt replacement. Can anyone advise if the sound os as should be. Thanks

To me it sounds like any other Land Rover with a similar engine, noisy I expect its a bit quieter with the bonnet closed

Thank you. This is my first Land Rover and I absolutely love it but because of the reputation they have I am panicking. Did full gearbox service, timing belts, new alternator and battery as well as Engine Service week after purchasing so now I just wait

Perhaps the timing was slightly out, but now after all that work it was set and returned to LR factory settings, so will run smoothly and quieter than it did before, anyway no knocks or squeaks which a good, the car looks nice and clean and has been looks after.

Did it have the newer style oil pump casing already fitted?

also wonder if they fitted the variable speed oil pump ??
