am in the process of askin them questions. its unlikey they would say if any claims have bin made as that would cast doubt on how good their snake oil was.
My oil costs me under £1 a litre for the very best of stuff. It's a superb premium grade 15w-40 for turbo diesels. I would really like to hear your reasons for it being "the wrong viscosity" and so on. Do tell.
I may choose an oil that is ABSOLUTELY IDEAL for MY car in MY hands in MY CONDITIONS, and that's a 15W/30 premium grade meeting every specification under the sun

Which is it charles 15w/30 or 15w/40 this is why we are having this argument, because you are changing the viscosity. 15w/30 like you say is the right oil but 15w/40 which started all this confusion is not. As a rule, and like i said from day one Universal tractor oil tends to be 10w,15w/30 and not 15w/40 as the 15w/40would be too thick when it's hot for transmission and stou applications which universal tractor oil is designed to cover as well.
